Dear Family and Friends,

It is past Thanksgiving and quickly approaching Christmas. Last year we enjoyed the holiday season in Michigan. This year we are warming up to the idea of a Tropical Christmas, lighted palm trees, etc. The mayor of San Pedro Sula has a goal of having the largest Christmas tree of Central America. They achieved that goal. Last night it caught fire and burned. Something has been lost. Beautiful decorations or not, a mountain of gifts or not, -- Christmas is Jesus and Salvation through His ultimate gift.

We are thankful to God for the continued growth of the work here in Honduras. We have completed 5 church buildings since our return in August. There have been added at least that many new church plants this year as well. My heart jumps with joy each time there is a new work planted. My mind worries just a little wondering who will be the pastor that will lead them in their new Christian walk.

January 25th 2005 will be the first day of classes for the new group of students at Messenger Pentecostal Bible Institute. This is the heart of the work. We NEED pastors! Please join us in prayer that the youth will hear and respond to God’s call. It seems to be especially difficult for the youth of Honduras to leave home and family. Pray that God will give them courage.

In October I visited Belize for the 2nd time this year. There are 48 churches scattered all across the country. In 4 days Bro. Natan and I were given the "tour" and visited 25 of those churches. The work is divided into 4 districts with a supervisor for each district. They are well-organized and working together for the Kingdom of God. One area of prayer is that of a Training center for Pastors. They have never had a Bible Institute. They have asked for prayer and assistance in this matter. We have tentative plans for starting up the Extension Bible Institute that we have successfully used here in Honduras for many years. I will be going to Belize on Wednesday of this week for 3 or 4 days and hope to implement this program. Please remember this venture in your prayers.

In the month of November we hosted 2 medical teams. One from various places, the other from Michigan. We had the privilege of having a clinic in 10 different needy churches. Over 3,200 patients were able to consult with a Doctor and receive needed medicines, vitamins, and the all necessary "parasite pill". We also had a dentist from Michigan in 4 of those clinics. He pulled 175 teeth in 4 days. What a blessing to be able to show the Love of God to needy people through medicine.

We are very excited because Scott will be coming to Honduras on Monday, the 13th, for 2 weeks. Please pray for safety in home and travel for all of us working in Master’s fields. Thank you for your support, financially and most importantly -- in prayer.

Yours for Missions,

Les ,Charlene Scott, Craig & Rosalie Melton
